This is a February 15, 2019 release from our lawsuit against the Department of State for records on federal government payments to properties owned by President Trump. These payments are likely violations of the Domestic Emoluments Clause, the anti-bribery clause of the U.S. Constitution. Due to Trump’s refusal to divest from his sprawling business empire, the President is signaling that the White House is open for business.
